Living History is making history come to life, and there are groups around the country that weekend in and weekend out (and some days in between) will set up a living history encampment, although at the moment my pages are focused generally upon the Migration, Saxon/Viking age, many of the items are transferable to other periods such as Roman and Crusade and earlier/later.
We hope this section can provide you with items to enhance your display, and if you're not a re-enactor, then also to enhance your home.
Please note that some wooden items may no longer be in stock throughout event season however please contact me to replicate anything you may see and like.

All wooden bowls and cups from The Longships Return are as unique as the trees they're made from and none are ever identical.
Here you will find a non-exhaustive archive of various wooden bowls, cups and platters made by The Longships Return with various features, wood types and designs. Some may be replicas of official finds but most are simply practical and in period style.
Should you wish for a specific, custom made wooden bowl, cup or platter after taking inspiration from the archive please contact us with the image number that you will find when clicking on the image making reference to which part or parts you would like included on your item. If you happen to find an image elsewhere, please don't hesitate to get in contact as replication can also be done.
